my car ran perfect before i shattered my tranny so i replaced it yesterday full days worth of tinkering n sore knuckles and it was back to normal so i have new problem
now my car was sitting idle'in this morning and it started to boil over one thing i noticed is the radiator fan did not work what could this be

could i have snagged the wires to the fan? if so a remedy

could it be something else

Likely the fan motor or relay. When it gets good and hot; check voltage at the fan plug. If no volts check the relay. If 12v it's likely the fan motor. When you change it you'll see why it's a high fail item.

Great! Be sure to let us know how it turns out. I seldom think of the "reboot" option. I'm assuming since you disconnected the battery; you have heard the fan running where it wasn't before...
