Default 2003 GT Error codes FL0007, EE10, BL01

Last night I was driving my 2003 Pt Turbo and when I came to a stop it completely died. I had it towed home and now the engine is giving me these codes: FL0007, EE10, BL01.

I could not find these codes online, does anyone know what they mean and why my car will not start?

Redid the test and got a real code this time: P0522

Would this code cause the car not to start? What should I check first?

From PT Do-It-Yourself.net:

We purchased a pre-owned 2003 GT (LO) Cruiser with 37k miles three weeks ago. The first two weeks were wonderful and it ran fine. This past week it was difficult to start. It turns over, but does not fire the first time. The second attempt is usually successful. Occasionally there will be a screeching noise when trying to start it. Sunday the air bag light came on and stayed on. It went off after three trips that day. Today the oil light came on and stayed on. I checked the oil and it was OK. I started the car and the oil light went out, but the air bag light came back on and remained on. Ran self test B and P0522 code came up and were still having problems starting it. (We are using premium fuel.) – Cindy, from Oregon.

With so many unrelated faults, I would inspect the PCM connectors for moisture contamination. I would also look for wiring chewed by rodents. The P0522 DTC is: Oil Pressure Sensor Low - Oil pressure sensor input below acceptable voltage.

Also found a TSB (Tech Service Bulletin:

Date: 10/07/2002
Component Name: 061000 ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE
NHTSA #: 1802902
SUMMARY: ENGINE NO START (ENGINE WILL START IMMEDIATELY AFTER CYCLING THE IGNITION KEY), MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP (MIL) ILLUMINATION WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) P0016, P0335, P0339, P0340, P0462, P0498, P0499, P0522, P0622, P1604, P1681

The rest of my searches failed to bring up anything pertaining to the engine not starting because of this code. Worst case scenario would be that you ran so low in oil that the engine has froze up for lack of lubrication.

The shop replaced the fuel pump and now it is running without a problem.

Strange. Oil pressure warning and a new fuel pump fixes it. Oh well, good luck.
