engine oil pan swap

Hey guys, hows it going?

My '04 pt cruiser is in a desperate need of change of oil pan. I've tried all the methods to stop the stripped thread from leaking oil, all resulted in a destroyed oil pan with a 'mickey mouse' plug that is slowly dripping it self to death... I am on my way to purchase an engine oil pan for $50 and have all the necessary equipment to change it and parts as well (new gasket, oil etc..) however, I am missing the instructions on how to. So I am wondering if anyone has had the same problem as me, and had to change the oil pan and is able to share the knowledge of how to remove and reinstall the pan.. That would be greatly appreciated.. any form of help, links, pictures, step by step is appreciated!..

The only thing that I see is a special sequence in how you tighten the collar and bending strut. Sorry I don't have a link. Maybe some else does.

Our pan had the same thing when we got it.I just drilled the pan out,tapped it for pipe thread and put in a 3/4 inch reducer.Been 14,000 miles since then and no leaks,simple fix
