Swapping busted oil pan with new one.
If I remove the lower torque strut, do I have to perform the adjustment sequence? Or could I skip this step and go ahead with the re-assembly? |

Just look at how it sits and when you put it back to together put in the same general way. There is no need for super precise adjustments.

Support the engine with a jack and you'll be fine. You'll notice I said "support". That doesn't mean to jack up the engine, just support it.
