Default PT GT and PT Turbo, what's the difference?

What makes the GT engine H.O. versus the Normal turbo engine.
I bought a 05 Turbo and want to make the engine more powerful, is it worth ordering parts to essentially turn it into a GT or just getting the Stage 1 PCM?
BTW I'm new here.

Welcome.
Same engine, only programming.
Get the Stage 1 and you'll be the equal of a GT w/Stage 1.
One difference - brakes. Unless it was ordered with 4-wheel ABS, yours won't have brakes as good as a GT.

Kind of what I figured but I thought I would ask, so none of the internals are different in the least?
Also, how much is a Stage 1 for a 2005 PT Cruiser Convertible Touring Edition, roughly?
I was planning on getting the Stage 1, Mopar Stage 2 wastegate and BOV.

Everything is identical on/in the engine.
Post over at PTCrew about stage 1.

Alright, I'm assuming that forum is more geared towards performance.

Thank you very much =)
One last quick question, I'm having a major tough time choosing wheel size, what looks and fits the best in your opinion?

You don't say where you are - I'm in Northeast, I've had a wheel eaten by a pothole, and my daughter and her husband each lost one also - if you are where roads are smooth & maintained, you can go bigger than 17".
Also depends what you want - handling? Comfort? Wear? Cost? Those things compete with one another - handling/ride is a tradeoff.

Also, bigger tires are more expensive, and often have briefer lives...
