Instrument Panel Lights replace with LED

I have looked on this and other sites for info on replacing the Instrument Panel Lights and turn signal indicator lights with LEDs, but have come away with no good info. Has anyone made the switch to LED and what did you use?

I know some people have done it, and I've considered it but haven't taken the plunge yet. Mostly because I'm trying to change the color of the gauges, not necessarily make them brighter. If you're looking for better lighting, replacing them with LEDs would be a good idea. But if you're looking to change the colors, it'd be rather difficult as the gauges are already coated with that teal/green color.

Anyway, these LEDs are a direct replacement for your bulbs..

ive also replace al the bulbs to leds in most of the swicths as well
looks ace @ night as its all blue

Would you mind posting pics? I've been interested in doing this but was afraid that the glow would just stay that teal/green color instead of actually being blue..

How many bulbs are there in the instrument cluster?

I believe there are 6, but some have reported 7.

My repair manual reports 6 ligths for illumination and one for the high beam indicator that makes 7 total. I am still trying to find out about what bulb is used for the trun signals, I find differant numbers for the bulbs in differant locations some say they are 74 and my owners manual say they are 103.

What about the replacement glow gauge kit on ebay any one ever tried that?
