01 with 69,000 and no air bag light.

I also have an 01 pt with airbag lite on. I haven't had it in the shop yet, thought it may be a sensor out

01 w/ 109,000... Second owner. bought it from a family member. I've known this car all its life ... no problems of that sort

2001 w/246,000 miles. Bought it from a friend.

No airbag issues, so far.

My mom's Volvo required a new airbag though... that was a very expen$ive repair.

So stuff like this happens. The airbags won't last forever, whether they were made by Chrysler or anybody else. As time goes on, and the airbags in the field get older etc we will see more failures.

Many times the airbag idiot light will come on because the clock-spring in the steering wheel is bad.

A common problem in the Caravans anyway. I'm gonna assume the PT has the same crappy part...
