02 Cruiser - Headlights and Security does not work

The security system and head lights on my 02 Cruiser do not work. All other electrical systems work properly. Are there any commmon issues between the headlights and security system that could be creating this problem. Any advice on where to start tracing the problem

The lights flash when you use the remote to lock the car so there is definitely something between the two. Have you checked all the fuses in the interior and under the hood?

Good point but I have not noticed since they aren't working, but remember that now. I have checked all of the fuses inside the cab but was not aware of any under the hood. Where are they located, is there a relay?

Near the battery is a black plastic box with a lid - more fuses in there.
Do you have remote locking? Does that work? If not, your RKEM (Remote Keyless Entry Module) module may have died....
