Water coming from undercarriage

We just got a used 02 5sp cruiser. I noticed that there was some water leaking from underneath the front sway bar on the passengers side. I searched the forum and didn't really find any posts on this topic. Any thoughts? It seems to be just water, no coolant. Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Your leak is nothing to worry about. It's the condensation from the air-conditioning system. That tube is made to catch the water and drip it harmlessly to the ground. You will get it if you have the compressor running weather in the air-conditioning mode or the front window defrost mode.

No problem. Look at every car that has the air conditioning running and you'll see clear water somewhere under the car.

Thanks for that reply CREWZIN I was just wondering the same thing I have been running the front window defrost lately and today I noticed a water underneath my pt. I was a bit worried there for a minute.

So I came here and did a search and found this thread :-)

I was following a new Cadillac SUV last week, and it was soo bad, it was like they were using their windshied washers in front of me. It probably had front & rear units.
I had to back off.
But, I was suprised by the amount that soonercruiser drips in the driveway, after turning her off.
