Transmission Replacement Question
I have a 2003 Base PT and the tranny went out on it (wont disengage out of gear, and it has new bushings). I am looking for a rebuilt tranny for it. Are the Turbo trannys compatable with the base model engines or do I need to buy a non-turbo tranny?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!! Aaron

Welcome.
Up to 2003, all auto trannies were the same. In '04, I think, they came up with the 40TE transmission, with 2, rather than 4 clutch packs, for non-turbos. As long as you get a 41TE transmission, with 4 clutch packs, they're alll the same.

Sorry, I forgot to specify that it was a manual transmission, not an automatic.

Ah, turbo manual is a Getrag. No reason it shouldn't bolt up, but to check - try PTCrew.com - Learn it or Burn it. -
