my girlfriend has a 2007 pt cruiser. it looks really plain. im into fixing cars up. wut can i do to make it run faster and look better? i dont know anything about these cars except they have 2.4l engines.

Not much you can do to make it go faster if it's the non turbo. Not worth the money you'd pour into it. You can make it look really cool, though. Check out a PT club in your area to get ideas.

Like Mean green said not a lot to do to make it faster

drop in a K&N air filter--sounds good easy for engine to breath
change exhaust same as above sounds coool but thats about it
Id change plugs and wires but that is mainly cause the stock ones suck big time
just not a lot to do i think i have red you can reprogram the computer to help in the performance area but then if it is a auto and you start to push it the tranny will let go and thats not good

You'll be surprised how much inflating tires 2-3 PSI above the door sticker # helps pickup (rolling resistance).
