I was planning to switch to Mobil 1 at 3000 miles but now I may have to reconsider and go with [u]Royal Purple</u>. Why [:I] you ask? It's probably no better than Mobil 1 but, the color is COOL, and IT IS COLOR-COORDINATED TO MY FLAMES/PIN-STRIPES!!!

![]() I was a heavy equipment mechanic for over 20 years. We started using Royal Purple in some of our specialized equipment and I was impressed with the way the oil performed. It seemed to stay extremely slippery for longer than any other oil we used. I know this isnt a scientific study. This is just my personal experience. Yes, I also like the color too.[8D] I was curious to see if anyone else on this forum was using it. I have 5 quarts on the shelf waiting until next week when my car turns over 2,500 miles. |
