Default acceleration and decceleration popping noise

I have a 2002 limited autotrans with 17k on it. I had it to a dealer with a popping and cruching noise. The mechanic loosened the engine to frame bracket and the engine move foreward in the slotted portion of the rubber gromet in the bracket. The crunching is gone but there still is a popping noise when you start to move and let up on the gas. They can't seem to find it. Could the noise be from the exhaust/manifold flex pipe? The sound comes and goes. The noise can't be duplicated on the rack or by powerbraking.

Not likely the same problem but I had a loud pop in the front end when I would get on the brakes hard while turning right. It would then pop again on rapid acceleration.

Took it to my dealer. I duplicated the noise for the QC Manager during a test drive. They put it on the rack and determined that the bolts for the subframe were not torqued properly.

It might be worth a shot to retorque the subframe bolts.
