Default Changing out motors

Hey guys,
I own a garage and have run into a PT problem. The car I'm working on is a 2001 Cruiser. We changed out the motors. The customers found an engine to replace the original one. Come to find out the 2nd engine is out of a 2003 Cruiser. I know the Crank sensors are located in different places. Putting the car on my scanner the only reading I'm not getting is for the crank. I've tried rewiring the sensor and even tried using the old sensor (though longer). So far, nothing has worked and the car won't start. Anyone run into this problem before?

Are you running the pcm from the 2003? Or any 2003 reprogramed to the 01 vin? It would be easier to get the entire harness from the 03 instead of switching 1 or 2 sensors.

This is my turbo History:
Stock turbo (1 year)
Big Wheel Stocker (3 Months)
50trim (2 Weeks)
Stage 3 (3 months)
Big Wheel Stage 3 (6 months) my Fav
Holset HX35 (6 months) 700whp turbo
Stock turbo its a daily driver now

I've done this once or twice before...

You are out of luck.... The crank sensor is not the only difference. The number of teeth on the crank wheel is different. Not gonna work. You have a SBEC equipped car and trying to use an NGC engine.
