I've had her for one year and 3 months.
[:I]Now the interior lights won't go off. Ive checked all five doors and they are all closed. The light switch is where it should be. Still the lights wont go off.[xx(] I had to turn the interior light switch completely off so they will go out. Any suggestions as to why... [:0]sill perplexed... |

Sorry to hear about your lights... maybe the button in one of the doors is stuck somehow and the lights are staying on... I know some time i don't close the tailgate all the way and it's hard to see the warning lite on the dash doing the day... but haven't had the problems your having...

At least now I don't feel so stupid. Had the same thing happen to mine a couple of months ago. We had a tremendous rain come though and I got caught in it, having the drivers door open a lot longer than I liked. I went a couple of days having to cut to dash lights all the way down to turn the interior lights off. By the time Monday rolled around so I could go by the dealer, it had cleared up and was working right.
[xx(] I never actually figured it out, but the only ting that made sense to me was that somehow water had gotten into the light switch stalk and it took a couple days to dry out. [:I]

Try disconnecting the negative battery cable for 30 seconds, or hit the brakes while it is disconnected (both drain residual backup voltage in the PCM).
Then see if this will reset the problem. Every once in a while, the PCM gets ork-faced and forgets to turn out the lights. |

Is the switch on your headlights that dimms the interior all teh way on? Click back one and see if that does the trick. [:I]

Geez...now I have to apologize to my girl friend. She swore up and down the other night when she borrowed the car that she could not get the interior lights to shut off. She says she went around to all the doors and opened and closed each one and still they wouldn't turn off. I went out to the car when she got home and all seemed fine. I told her she was mistaken....Man did I get a dirty look[B)]
Now I guess I have to say I'm sorry again.....
