Default Brake symptom

My 02 PT's brakes just recently started acting funny. The break pedal has a pulsating vibration only sometimes when braking. The odd thing is that it also does (only sometimes again) when stopped. Put the car in neutral with breaks still engaged and vibration stops. Any suggestions? Was thinking maybe something with brake booster. Thanks for your help.

I'm not very pt savvy but the first thing I would check is the brake rotors just b/c it would be easiest, then my next guess would be the master cylinder but thats just a guess. Maybe check the vacuum line to the brake booster... Good-luck!

Symptoms of a warped rotor.
I'd just get new rotors, don't let them turn them - the rotors aren't think enough.
And don't buy the cheapest ones - try NAPA - they have more than one price - or Tire Rack.
