Default Radiator fan always on high

I have a 03 GT cruiser turbo with a/t. I have not driven it much this winter and when I went to start it up this week the check engine light came on and the radiator fan sounded like it was going to take off. I took it to my mechanic and he said it was a bad battery. I changed the battery and the fan is still always on high from the time I turn the key to on to when I shut it down. My temp is fine and never goes over halfway up. I checked the relays but the turbo has no relays in the usual place. I guess my question is, Where are the relays on the turbo or is this a engine computer problem? Thanks for any help/suggestions.
The error codes I get are, 0622, 0113, 118, 108, 0533, and 0123. And prior to this I had no error codes, they all started at the same time.

Your saying the 03 GT doesn't have the PDC (Power distribution Center) in the engine compartment with both a high and low speed fan relay?

It does have the PDC but there is no relays in there for high and low radiator fan. The cover with the diagram even says only on non-turbo. The slots are just empy in my car.

OK, thanks for the update. I know on the turbo cars for 2006+ there are some relays attached to the fan itself in one of the upper corners.

Check that you don't have it set to defrost - defrost will turn on the A/C, and A/C will keep the engine fan on.

I checked and there are no visible relays on the fan itself, also I have tried the fan in every possible combination and the radiator fan always remains on high regardless if the a/c is on or not.

Well, as I understand it, the ECT sends a signal to the computer. The computer reads the temperature and through fuses/relays it controls the speed of the fan. The ECT could be bad or a glitch in the computer, or I could have it all wrong and something else is keeping the fan on.

I was also told the GT doesn't have a two speed fan like the non-turbo. It's variable speeds controlled by the computer.

I don't know if you resolved your fan issue yet. But I've been doing some searching of my own for my radiator fan on my '05 PT Ltd Ed Turbo. I have no knowledge if the '03 model has the same components. It may be that Chrysler changed how they achieve the variable speed.

At the moment, I'm thinking that the fan isn't "variable speed" at all. My fan has what I believe is a thermistor that changes the fan speed. If this is true, this part may be bad on your PT. This would explain why the fan only runs on high.

See my post with photo here...
Can someone tell me what this is?
