I have a 04 cruiser non turbo with 130000 kms(8oooo mi)Are there any warning signs when the timing belt has to be replaced?

Usually there's no sign, the belt just breaks. We recommend to everyone to change it at 100,000 miles.
The belt might stretch a small amount before it breaks and cause the timing to go off so the engine will run rough but that doesn't happen very much. |
