Without diagnostic work, could be a couple things. Here's a little bit to read:

Why Does My Engine Crank Over But Won't Start and How do I Repair It?

I know this is an old "post" but I believe it answered my question, and pointed me in the right direction.

I have a 2009 cruiser, never had any issues except these past few months. 3 months ago had Firestone replace the timing belt, I just replaced the cooling fan last week, and now it wont start. It cranks but no start. I hear bubbles when trying to start it, so according to this link the head gasket is blown. Would that be a fair assessment?

First thing I would suggest you do is take the camshaft sensor off, see if the camshaft is turning when you crank it over.

If the camshaft is turning I would check the fuel pressure. Make sure you are getting 57 +/-5 PSI.
