Unhappy Jump Starting Issues

My car battery died and I am trying to jump start it. I found the positive attachment for the jump start, and then down near the front of the hood it has a label pointing toward the opening latch saying negative attachment but I do not see what would be a negative attachment near it. I tried looking in the owner's manual and did not see anything about locating the negative attachment. Any suggestions or pictures of what I'm looking for?? Thanks!

Mandy

Mandy, it's the 1 1/2 inch straight bar that the hood latch grabs onto, or you can look around for anything that grounded to place the jumper cable to.

you just attach your negative(-)(black) jump start wire to the bolt near the label you was talking about. on a car the negative wire of the battery usually go directly to the engine or frame, so you can almost attach the negative jump wire anywhere you see metal on the car, but it is recommended to attach it on that bolt as the label say to ensure a good contact

*argh you was faster than me crewsin
