Default New Battery-can't stop Alarm

I put in a new battery, and as soon as I connected the positive cable the alarm went off. I don't have the FOBs anymore, and have no way of turning it off. I pulled out the Horn Relay fuse (which stopped the noise) but the red light and a ticking noise is still going off in the dash. The only way I can stop that is by pulling the headlight fuse. Does anyone know what else I can do??

Welcome to the Forum. Try removing the Negative and Positive cables. Put the fuses & relays back, let it sit for 10 minutes. I can't tell but did you install the Negative before the Positive? This time install the positive cable first, then the negative cable. The Negative cable should always be installed last.
