Good day,
I have a 2001 PT Cruiser that has a charge light on, will not charge, alternator replaced, will not charge, giving a bus b8 or perhaps it is 68 on the odometer. I can not find anything that helps me with this error code and what to do next...thanks...Richard |

Maybe somebody on the forum can decipher it, but it's gonna take a real tech person. I found the Bus B8 on a forum called Scan Tool but the people on the forum were talking way over what I could understand.
Have you tried professional help with a scan tool and someone who knows how to read it? |

The voltage output of the alternator is controlled by the voltage regulator in the PCM. You may need a new PCM.
