Default Brakes Catching

I was driving home tonight and noticed a weird problem at a few stops. My brakes were catching a bit while braking to a complete stop. It didn't happen earlier in the day, just a bit while driving home. No warning lights or anything came on either, which concerns me. I looked up the question all over google and found a few other car forums talking about a similar problem, most came down to the computer adapting to their driving style, or a messed up ABS. My brakes still work, but the little catch kind of worries me. I've only had the car for a little over a week, I'll dive it around extensively tomorrow to test it more. Any advice on this would be appreciated.

It's an '07 Cruiser Touring 44k auto good condition for model info.

Default Re: Brakes Catching

If you have rear drums it could be a broken spring on the shoes.
If it feels like the ABS is activating one and off, it could be a wheel abs censor.
If the car pulls to one side while breaking it could be a stuck or sticking front brake caliper.

By catch do you mean that they drag or squeal the tires?
