Last week I was talking with a friend about using an extra battery blanket to go around the airbox, and found out that he didn't know what I was talking about 'cause his didn't have the battery wrap. Just wondering if it got left off of anyone elses? According to the owner's manual (in the caution block on p. 211 for the '01) it really needs to be there! Just thought yawl might want to check.

Would the battery wrap be the black material looking stuff that wraps around the sides of the battery?

My understanding of thre battery blanket is that it depends on where geographically your PT was supplied to. Although saying that i live in sunny australia and i think mine has one. It was also listed as an order option when you do a price build for a car at chrysler.com
