Default exhaust

Ok i have a 06 and i was wondering if i doing a exhaust system on it would affect the mpg i am keeping it the same diameter i am pretty much just changing the muffler

No, a free flowing exhaust won't hurt the MPG and might even help a very small bit. Usually the new exhaust is lighter weight so there's a savings there and will give you a different sound so check around first before just throwing a new muffler on because it could be a new exhaust noise that you won't like.
