Default antifreeze?

I called Prestone about their antifreeze that says mixes with any antifreeze any brand .
Prestone said this is OAT anti freeze not HOAT, but it is ok in the Chrysler autos. Prestone also said it will not clog radiator.
Does anyone know anything about this?

Go to NAPA Or CHrysler and do yourslef a big fat favor and buy the correct anti freeze, HOAT, the chrysler Pink with cost of 20$ a gallon or Zerex Yellow at NAPA for about 13$ > Products > Zerex > Antifreeze Zerex > Zerex G-05® Antifreeze / Coolant

Dont waste your time and buy the all in one antifreezes, not worth any problems.

Prestone cannot make that claim unless it's true, so there probably would be nothing to worry about by using it. If anything, ask them for a guarantee in writing that it's fully compatible and won't clog.

If you look at it the other way, though, Chrysler specifically states to use HOAT, not OAT.

Once upon a time I drove a BMW 7 series. They have "lifetime" fluid in their trannys. Needless to say there's no such thing as a lifetime fluid, so I contacted Mobil 1. BMW specifically stated only their Esso brand fluid may be used. They didn't approve any other fluid. I got a written guarantee from Mobil 1 about their ATF being an acceptable substitute, so I used with without a single problem.

Just depends on how you want to look at the situation.
