Default Timing mark question on a non turbo.

Just put A timing belt and water pump in my PT.
I tried to align the timing marks as best as possible.
My front cam seems to be half a tooth lower than the rear cam with the crank dead on its mark.
It runs smooth but at idle it seems to stall out or stumble of the blue with out warning. Wasn't a problem before. The car seems to run ok on the road.

So, I know its out of time.

What do I do or how do I do it properly. How do I get my marks to line up and should they be in a straight line across the cams?

P.S. I did change it all with out disconnecting my A.C. lines or my exhaust. YAY!

Humm, my Pt was in time...
I guess I must of had water in the fuel?
She purrs great now.

DreamPT416, if you are not mechanically inclined or have tool, I would take it to a shop.
You have to do a lot of shinning and jacking to get at stuff and take mounts off.

If you did any searching on the forum you'd see nobody has ever had to pull the engine. The engine mount does have to be loosened or taken off so the engine can move a bit to give access to certain bolts.
