Default Gauges, A/C and Power Locks Stopped Working

I have a 2006 PT Cruiser and my wife stopped to put gas in it this afternoon. When she restarted the car, the A/C indicator light on the dial, power locks, and all the gauges on the instrument panel stopped working. Headlights, radio, the light for the Recycle Air on the A/C and windows still work fine.

Any thoughts?

If you had a 2001-2005 PT I'd say to check you IOD (Ignition Off Draw) fuse #18 as that gives power to the power locks, instrument cluster and other things but Chrysler changed things so much in the 06+ cruisers and put more than one IOD fuse that I can't start to tell you which one to look at.

Best thing to do, if you can, is go over allthe fuses in the PDC (Power Distribution Center) in the engine compartment and see if you see a fuse failure.

I tried checking the fuses and they all seem intact. What's weird is the randomness of the failures.
A/C works, radio works, windows works
Locks and all the gauges do not. Entire drivers console is dark. No lights, no gauges working, nothing. Besides that and the locks, everything else works.

Check connectors - take off the shroud around the steering colummn and make sure all connectors are tight and look for wiring rubbing.
