Default GForce Performance Chip Kits ?

Has anyone installed one of these advertised chips in your PT or know anything about them ? They sound great, but I am skepticle about all the promised performance improvements.

if they are the "chips" that attach to or take the place of the IAT, they are just about worthless. They fool the computer into thinking there's cool/cold air coming into the intake the the computer dumps more fuel into the mixture and advances the timing. Just like your car runs a little better in the cool morning air rather than when it's hot out. Yea, you might be adding 1-2 hp but there's no way to shut it off. It even dumps more fuel in when your at idle or anytime the engine is running. I also had a friend who bought one off eBay and the Check Engine light came on as soon as attached it, and stayed on all the time.

This sounds like the chip that you were negative about..

Advertised installation
EASY INSTALLATION. Installation can be performed by anyone using simple hand tools. The GForce module installs into your CHRYSLER PT CRUISER's engine bay and is connected via 2 wires that plug into the AIT sensor. The unit is then able to reprogram the ECU thus improving your car's performance .

I know there are a lot of "more power..better gas milage" devices advertised. some work, most don't.
Thanks for your opinion..
