My wifes car died yesterday when turning a corner then today wouldnt go over 30mph. This afternon it would get up to speed but died when I turned the corner. Maybe fuel pump? Engine light is not coming on so I think it is the fuel pump anyone have this issue. 2007 non turbo 76k

Does the check engine light have to be on for any codes to show up?

I just had to change my cam position sensor and it acted up slightly for about a week before the engine light came on and the problem got worse.

There are no codes stored in the computer. Will there be a code if its the fuel pump?

Never really read about the fuel pump being bad unless the PT is run down to empty a lot. It's weird it only happens on turns. I wish I had more input for you hopefully one of the mechanics will see the thread and help out.

I gave you the list of codes based on your other question asking what error would you get for the cam shaft position sensor.
