Unhappy Engine fails after Spark Plugs and Wires installation

Pt Cruiser 2006 Limited Ed. I replace the old spark plugs by E3 (gap 0.40 fixed)spark plugs, old original wires by a Mopar Performance wires and stock Coil by a Screamin' Demon Coil. But when i start the car a problem came out. The engine began to fail (like one spark plug doesn't work) and the check out engine light up! maybe a bad spark plug from factory? can someone help? i double check the installation.

It could honestly be a number of things to do with how you might have installed your add-ons. I would start by seeing if you can get any error codes to know where to start. No need throwing guesses at it if your car will tell you by itself. just me opinion, someone might chime in soon and know exactly what it is

Right, follow the advice above to see if there's any fault codes. Personally, I'd take out the screamin demon coil and put back the original. There good and bad reports about that coil. The original coil, unless your having problems is good enough for PT's running close to 300hp. It supplies enough voltage for any add-on you can think of and it's easy enough to swap to see if that's the problem.

You have the engine light so you will get some sort of code from the computer to help narrow down the problem.

How to retrieve fault codes.

I agree with Crewzin the easiest thing would be to reinstall the original coil to see if problem goes away. Also make sure wires are pushed down hard they take some force to pop on.

Agree - takes a determined effort to get the wires on.
Also try resetting the computer by disconnecting the battery.

Hi - Well, to tell the history short...
I replace the new coil with original stock coil (problem still the same)
Stock coil replaced with the new one (again)
No error code appear just _ _ _ _ DONE
I have do an extreme research of those E3 Sparks and jumm those sparks have a fixed Gap of 0.66 (measured with a gapping tool)
So i went and bought a new set of sparks, the autoparts sold me (Motorcraft-Ford sparks) i gap those sparks to 0.40 wide but they didn't fit well, too short in diameter compared to the stock (Champion Spark) the wires hardly reach them thoroughly.
Finally went to a local Pep Boys store and find a nice set (same Champion spark long diameter) BOSH Platinum +2 (Gap 0.40 fixed) I will install those Bosh tomorrow but at least the check engine did not appear again and electric intermittence to the engine was reduced when Motorcraft-Ford sparks was intalled.

At last everything works perfect! BOSH Sparks fits perfect. Wow !What a difference compared to old stock wires and spark plugs! And the Airraid filter will arrive to my hands soon. Lesson Learned= E3 Spark Plugs do not work on Pt cruiser 2006 and i think i can assemble and dismount all parts again and again with my eyes closed. (i do it 4 times) to resolve the issue.
