proable not much better, most people are dissapointed with the gas consumption.

heavy vehicle, aerodynamics of a brick, turbo, 4 cyl all bad on gas....

Your right foot must be heavy...I get 27 MPG highway and combination in-town/highway of about 24 MPG. But then again my "town" is only about 1 mile long...

That's about the same as mine. In town I get 17 with a/c on and 19 without, haven't had any highway driving yet.

OK guys, I do not have the turbo (by choice)and the poorest milage that I have got with the stick shift is 29.3 and the best was 32.5 and that was on a trip with no stop and go driving. I have stopped keeping track of it as I am totally satisfied. [^] BTW, I have 9,000 miles on it. Bought it new in July. Guess we don't stay home much.[?]

I have about 8000 miles on mine and drive a moderately windy mountain road. Was getting 17.5 - 18 MPG until recently, but now I'm getting just over 20. This pleases me no end!

I get about 19 mpg with a combo of city/highway driving. Traffic around here has gotten worse and I spend more time stopped than going. I expect my mpg to drop because of it.
