Default air bags light

it started to happen a few weeks ago...

after I start the car, the airbag2 off lights in bottom of the console stay on, and around 15 minutes later the red airbag light in the cluster came on and they both stay on till I turn off the engine. it happen every time, always et the same times. any ideas?

I searched on this subject, found some cases of light that stay on right afer starting the car, other that come on once in a while and stop happening for months, and a lots that was the ''clock spring''(not my case, seem the when it happens other systems, like the fan, stop working, but for me everything else works fine)

Well I supposed there's a very slight chance that it's a battery issue, especially if other things stop working when it happens. The best you can do to start is have the airbag module scanned for any codes.

An airbag light does not necessarily mean a clockspring. It could be an occupancy sensor, wiring, the airbag itself, pretensioner, etc.

If someone sits in the passenger seat, does that secondary light go out?

maybe I got it, I drove a bit to make both lights turn on, then I parked and I started messing with the passenger occupant sensor plug and the lights turned off... and I got a question: this plug/harness have a sort of clip on it to attach it somewhere, but I found it just hanging under the seat. I looked but I didn't find a place to clip it, is there supposed to?

I believe it just clips onto the bottom of the seat frame somewhere. Probably just anywhere it will clip to.

Sounds like your problem is the occupancy sensor.
