Have posted a poll at another forum. I feel that it would be easier to keep it in one place. Hope I don't offend anybody. Here's the link:

I already answered on the PTE forum, but just to keep some traffic here too - I bought the Heartthrob (CremCo) system thru JC Whitney. Good system for the price, won't last forever but I'll be happy if I get 3 years out of it.

I also got the "Heartthrob" exhaust from JC Whitney , I think it has a deeper sound and much better price . The tip up stainless tips are way cool also . It took me three hrs. to install .

Bassanni duals (from Race and Street) and boy, are they great! Easy installation, too. Cruise on!

Received the P.T. Tuning duals, but they seem to be as heavy as a twice the weight of two spares( 50 Lbs ), of which some leave off to lessen the weight ,to gain more power. So does the performance <img src=icon_smile_clown.gif border=0 align=middle> offset the added weight that much I wonder? Maybe throw out the back seats and the spare to compensate? Tex.

Someone weighed them once and they only weighed 3 lbs more than the stock setup. There is no heavy muffler in this system. I have it too sitting in my garage waiting to be installed.

Had The P.T. Tuning instaled $65.00. So that's a "Burble" Huh?It does sorta keep going when I let off the gas though. I'll weigh the factory set up and see how much less it weighs to the duals 50 Lbs.
and the answer is - - - The muffler 22Lbs and the Pipe 10 Lbs with all the hardware and clamps. 18 Lbs heavier for the duals. Not bad. No noticable increase in power though. I do notice different strange changes in the engine at certain speeds though. Most likely the factory Plugs. Tex |
