Default Radiator vs Pick-up Truck bumper

Hello all, Need some advice.

Yes i rear ended a truck wrecking my front end. Since it was a truck , the radiator took the brunt of the impact. All fluid ran out and the car shut itself off. When / if i decide to try and rebuild what complications could i have since it did run out of all coolant fluid causing it to shut down.
The accident was my fault so i dont want to file claim with Insurance;theyll total it. Thinking about paying to fix it myself.

2004 Base Model 105k miles, no noteworthy mods but its All Paid For.

Thanks guys.....

Have you had the timing belt replaced?at 105,000 Miles, you should.....
try wholesalemopar.com or RockAuto, com for parts...
How long did you run the engine after collision? Did temp gauge get pegged? That will determine the damage done.

hello there.. first off, i am so sorry to hear about what happened to your truck. i can just imagine the crappy aftermath feelin. I dunno if this can help you in your case but i was able to buy stuff like custom truck bumpers before online in stylintrucks.com but that was for a different purpose. in any case, i hope everything turns out well for you and your truck.

adam,

He doesn't have a truck. He has the PT Cruiser that ran into the back of a truck. So, although Stylintrucks.com does have a few parts for the Cruiser, it doesn't have what thegooch2 will be looking for to rebuild the front end.
