Default 2006 PT Cruiser Touring Edition

My 2006 PT Cruiser Touring Edition has a vibration during acceleration. It is non-turbo and I just replaced the spark plugs and wires. It was doing this prior to replacing the plugs and wires. Thoughts?

Only during acceleration? While turning? Braking? Biggest issue with this is determining whether it's a motor-related issue or whether it's suspension. Might need an alignment? Tires rotated recently? Checked for balance? Lots of factors come into play in situations like these..

Default Re: 2006 PT Cruiser Touring Edition - vibration when accelerating

Mine does the exact same thing. There is a slight but distinct vibration, more like a stuttering really, when accelerating from 0 to 30/40. Not always, but most of the time. Disappears instantly when car shifts, or when letting foot off the gas.

It doesn't "feel" like it's the engine, but I could be wrong. All I can tell you is that there are no changes in engine sound when this happens. It's not missing, stumbling or sputtering.

Tires are ok as far as I know. I have not experienced any vibration, at any speed. This only happens when accelerating in 1st.

Does it sound like a bad sound? or just odd?
I Guess what im getting at is if it might just be the car your not used to.
Do you feel the vibration in your steering wheel, in your feet, or in your back?
It could possibly be your engine mounts or struts. Engine mounts usually seem to only cause the problem during idle though, so more info would be awesome
