Default Question re: NVL in 2007 PT Cruiser we realize we got rooked by the Extended warranty that came with our PT's. They do not pay for diddly or squat once the manufacturer warranty has run out.

PT has 37000 Miles on it. Extended Warranty is paying for the front struts, and rear axel seal, but will not pay for the NVL valve.

According to what i have found online, the gov't mandates emmissions items have a 50,000 Mile warranty on them...ergo is it not logical that this NVL thing would be covered by Chrysler/Dodge then?

Anyone have any knowledge or experience they can share?

Ank, check your manual (the one that came with your car) for the extent of the "Emmissions Warranty". Mine went for 70,000 miles (I have a 2003). I believe you'll find that Chrysler is still responsible for many emmissions items until that time. there is even an 80,000 mile warranty for some smog items ....

If you have no manual, you still have the the same rights.
