Are you positive the noise is in the front. There's not too much left that you haven't changed. Could the exhaust be loose and the CAT be banging on the undercarriage? With that kind of mileage, even the front bumper bolts might have come loose and allowing a part you never thought about to bang over bumps.

Well, you should be able to tell, does it sound metallic? or solid when it hits?
Do you feel it in your foot or seat when you hear it?

I can feel it in the pedal a little... I checked the exhaust, seems firm. Cat also feels firm. Could it be a wheel bearing? or the steering rack?

You would know for sure if it was a bearing, so that cant be it.
Im willing to be that its just something obscure in the depths of the car thats going to be a pain to find. Sorry for being cynical
Im with CREWZIN, very well might be a screw thats comes loose, much like Mel Gibson in that sense. But just go try rattling your bumper and around it, to see if you hear anything.

I'll look at and around the bumper tonight. One thing I didn't change is the inner tie rod..... any chance you think? Also, let's say I get those tie rods. Is that an easy change? Thanks for all the help.

After replacing ALL of the suspension bushings, ball joints, sway bar links, blah blah blah... I also did a unistrut replacement. All noise is gone...EXCEPT today I heard a minor noise while stopping and acceleration. Got home and up on jacks, well when I move the tire side to side, the center shaft on the strut I installed isn't tight.... There is a shaft with a hexagon and threads with a large nut. Does that need tightened? Is there a speacial tool? Please help.... Crewzin... This should be a no-brainer for you bro... please help!!!

If you talking about the strut itself, the large nut at the top with two large washers and a thick rubber grommet between the washers, the nut should be tightened down till the thick washer is flattened to about half the size. Everything should be tight with no movement at all.

If your talking about something else, you'll have to explain it better. Usually when the wheel moves side to side it's a sign of bad wheel bearings or the wheel center nut the actually secures the hub in isn't tight. If it's that nut your talking about, it's held at the right tightness by a cotter pin through the center shaft.
