Default Non-Turbo vs. Turbo Oxygen Sensor

I was wondering if there is any difference between the Turbo and non-Turbo up-stream oxygen sensor? I think I am in need of a new one and was going to pick up a cheap one from a local junk yard. I have a turbo PT but none of the local yards have turbo. I plan on buying new eventually but would like to save a few bucks by testing out. If anyone can tell me if they are the same, i would appreciate it.

you think you are in need of a new one? most parts houses will run the codes for free. take it to your local advance/oreily's/autozone and they can check the obd and tell you if its the 02 sensor.but as far as turbo vs non turbo i would imagine they are different

I have taken it to a store and i get the p0172 error code. Unfortunately the local stores can only dig this deep and cant give specifics. I know there are a number of things that could be causing this but i assumed that the o2 sensor was most likely and cheapest to fix first.

Why in the world would you even think about putting a used one in. I went to Autozones web site and they show sensors for about $60. So you get a used one, put it in and 2 weeks later the code appears again,, now you have to buy another one and now you've spent more than purchasing a new one in the first place.

I understand buying used can save money, but not in something like this.

I see on other posts people have said to stick with the OEM sensors as the ones you can get in normal stores do not function well with PT's. Does anyone have experience with this? I will price one from a local dealer.

Definitely go with the OEM ones, there have been a number of Cruisers who have went with aftermarket and then to the OEM's.
