Question 2006 non-turbo engine swap?

I blew a head gasket this weekend, and was wondering what year engine(s) would be a direct fit for my 2006 touring non turbo.

Also, would a turbo engine be that difficult to swap in?

Thank you

to put a turbo in a non turbo you would need the entire wiring harness and all plumbing and accesories from the turbo car. including the dash and guage cluster. as far as the head i think all 2.4 dohc non turbo has the same head. not 100% sure.

Why are you trying to replace the whole engine just because you blew a head gasket? Is there something you aren't telling us?

No not leaving anything out. Its just easier to replace an engine with 110k miles on it with another engine than to pull the intake and head and replace the head gasket.
Do you happen to know what years engines will be a direct fit in my 06?

NO. All the talk so far about swapping engines were the older 01-03 engines. Not the newer ones.
