P0300 is multiple cylinder misfire;
P0700 is transmission/transaxle controller.
P1684 is battery was disconnected.

The P0700 is what your interested in. It's a generic code for something wrong in the trans or modules. You have to have a scanner to localize where exactly the problem is. Not really any cheap fixes when it comes to the transaxle.

Went to AutoZone today. A retired mechanic working there said I'd probably need to change out the module on top-front of the auto trans. He also told me I might try taking a cable off the battery for a minute or so. I tried this while I was there...left it off for 2-3 mins...and walaah! When I started it up the check engine light was not lit and it shifted find!!! This is probably not a permanent fix, but its good for now, If and when I have I have shifting probs. or the engine light this will be the first thing I try. Keep cruising.

Make sure your tranny is full of fluid, I recently put a half can of Sea Foam trans tune up in. I noticed a difference almost right away,it's a cleaner and my high gear seemed to be "lazy" coming back in after the passing gear kicked in. I did have my trans flushed after a couple of days and now it's a little firmer in shifts and the "lazy" part is gone. This cleaner is meant to be used just before the flush,so don't use it as a permanent fix. It's NOT intended to be left in there.
