Odmeter said Gascap

Default Odmeter said Gascap

What does it mean when you odmeter says "Gascap"? It happens every so often after I get gas (not everytime I get gas). It will say it for a day and then go away...so weird!

that happened to me once and when i went to check the gas cap it was on tight. so after that i just pushed the button on the gages and it went away.

With the older PT's, after you put fuel in and you didn't tightly secure the cap, you might get a fault code (engine light) of P0441/P0442. When the cap was secured it could take a day or so for the fault code to go away. Looks like the newer PT's have something different to tell you about the loose condition.
