Manual or auto tranny? And you wasted money on that msd coil, better watch that thing. It probably will be all right in an NA, but in the turbo's they tend to melt. They simply can't take the heat. The factory coils are damned sturdy.

With an automatic NA, it will be fine. You're not going to generate enough heat to kill it. But I would suggest saving the old one, they tend to be really tough. I ran at Palm Beach International Raceway and blew the snot out of an MSD, was actually two coils back to back and they parted ways at about half-track! Quite a show...

There is one thing.... put a push bar on a GT model and drive it behind the NA.

Make it lighter by removing "2 10" Alpine Type R's, Alpine MRP-1000 Amp, 6.5 Alpine Type S Components/Coaxials, Alpine MRP-F300 4 Channel Amp, Shruiken BT-20 2nd Battery"

I'm sorry Xwing but how is this gonna make it lighter?
Honestly if you remove the stereo and the ac compressor, THAT would make the car lighter.
I guess i'm not understanding your post. sorry

No problem it was mostly a joke, ive got one 12" typeR in the 06' and that thing weighs at least 30lbs. lol (hard hitting subs aint they?)

Seriously though you do gain about a tenth in the 1/4 mile for every 100 lbs. you can loose. Me, im not giving up comfort and convenice for faster times though
