Unhappy Needing a new motor for my 2006

Needing a new motor for my 06. Really not sure whats wrong with it. Have had many different thongs told to me. All I know I was driving it got to hot and shut off lost all power before it completely shut down. Oil not milky, no knocking befor it shut off, not sure what to do. It wont start acting like its getting no compression so I was told. What are the steps I need to do to try and get my car fixed?

Like the other guys said....probably the timing belt but you need to have it checked out by a trusted mechanic.

"Have had many different thongs told to me" Oh! Many different THINGS told to you. Find someone that's knowledgeable with the PT and have the belt checked out. Without your profile being filled in we can't tell where your from. Is there a Chrysler dealer anywhere in the area where your at? There's very few things that could have gone wrong that you'd need to replace the whole engine.
