Default Timing belt kit?

I saw a 4 piece timing belt kit by Gates on e-bay. I'm wondering if anyone has tried this kit and if so is it worth a look? It comes with the belt, idler, tensioner & water pump.
The cost is $155.00 + shipping.
I know the belts are good, over on a GoldWing site I go to a lot of guys have used the Gates timing belts in their 1200's and seem to like them.

Rock Auto has Gates & Dayco and shipping price depend where you live.

Check the links below.

Gates TCKWP265A - $127.79
Dayco WP265K4A -$159.79

Both are good brands depend what you like, Warranty for Gates Limited lifetime & for Dayco 12 month / 12,000 miles.

I've been using Dayco for drive belt and they are good product made in USA.

Ask other people experience to see which one to choose.

Good Luck

Pending the mileage on your PT I know it's recommended to do the water pump while your in there.

Thanks, that kit has the water pump also. I just checked it again on e-bay,but, none of the PT stuff they have is listed for my '01; '03 is the lowest yr.
I wonder if they are the same? When I enter my PT yr & model the chart says it won't fit???
BTW, the seller is carpartsdiscount..anyone ever buy from them?

Due to the improved tensioner on '03-up. The '03 kit will work if you trim some plastic in the back cover to fit around the tensioner. Or buy a Dayco kit with updated covers (see rockauto.com). I modified mine to fit, but new covers aren't a bad idea, as heat & age make the plastic covers brittle - mine are full of cracks.

I am just finishing up on a 02, it cost me $260.00 for Gates timing belt component and water pump at "O" wrongleys. Then thermostat, and housing times 2, radiator, now looks like a 2 year old battery going bad also. Money sucking vehicles!
