Default Changing TCM and PCM together

I mistakingly posted this under Events...I have a 2002 PT Cruiser with an engine code of P0605 which is the TCM (It's an automatic that won't shift out of first gear despite the speed). If I find a used PCM and TCM from the same vehicle, will they need to be flashed? I'm assuming the TCM is flashed to the PCM, but if they came from the same vehicle, would not they have already been flashed to each other? Are there any other components that would have to be flashed? Thanks for your help!
