Default How many Motor or Transmission Mounts?

I have a 2002 PT Cruiser with Auto Transmission. I replaced the 2 motor mounts on the passenger side and it got rid of some clunking sounds. I previously replaced all the A arm bushings and struts.

I am still getting a clunking sound from the passenger side. Are there any more mounts? Transmission mounts, motor mounts on Driver side etc?

Thank You for you help.

I've not done any work on the '02 or '06 motor mounts....yet. This summer I plan on replacing my motor mounts as I've thrashed mine by driving like a maniac.

Let me look in the parts catalog...
Well, this site won't allow me to upload the three pages I pulled from the catalog, it's about 85k (almost tiny).

So here, download it from my site. Maybe that will help you out...

Mity, do you want the same for the '06?

The passengers mount is horrible to replace. My suggestion is:
1. Drop the powertrain
2. Use 3M Windshield Urethane.

The Neon mounts ('00 and up) were even worse than the older models, PT shares the common design (the rubber, per se, may be of different firmness).
The urethane will fix a torn mount permanently, if you fill the mount totally it will transmit vibrations to the occupants, some don't mind and some like it!

I already replaced the passenger mounts. Actually super easy for me. Took about 30 minutes. The upper and lower, I didn't fill with urethane. I got them cheap enough and easy enough to replace I can change them very 30 to 60k with no problem.

I replaced #3 and #4 on the Diagram which are described as Engine Mount Isolators. They look like the only ones that have rubber in them. All the other are metal mounting locations which shouldn't require to be changed, from what I can tell.

Does anyone else know if there are any other supports or isolaters I am missing?

Great info. The Neon SRT-4 motor mounts are stouter and fit the PT. There is also one tranny mount on the driver side.

Ahh, a tranny mount. That could be my issue. Do you know its general location on the driver side. Do you know a part number?

The tranny mount looks like the others, so the rubber inside is bound to be bad. I think this is it:
