Timing Belt Component Kit

Hello,

Could anyone point me in the direction of a decent timing belt component kit for a 2004 pt cruiser non turbo? Some kits come with different pieces, so i'm not sure which one to get.

Thanks
Chris

You need to get the belt, tensioner and water pump. You should probably go ahead and replace the other belts and radiator hoses while you have it apart. That's just my opinion for what it's worth.

I bought mine from Advance Auto (online). Got 20% off with free shipping (but included sales tax). The cardboard box it came in had MOPAR in big letters (assume it came from Chysler).

The kit did not come with a water pump (ordered separate - 20% discount also) non-MOPAR.

RockAuto Parts Catalog

+1 :thumbs-up: $121.99 for the belt, tensioner pulley, idler pulley and water pump at Rock Auto. I replaced mine earlier this year with this kit.

First time poster here. I have a 2003 non turbo. Which kit from Rock Auto do you recommend. They offer one with and without a "bracket" for the tensioner. Why would I need to replace the bracket? Thanks for any insight!
