Default 01 PT Cruiser Starter Solenoid Connections

Hello all. I have a 01 PT cruiser with the 2.4L 16 valve.

Does anyone know what the bottom green wire connection on the starter solenoid goes to? I had a new starter put in and they did not hook up the green wire and my battery light is on and it died driving down the road. The battery is brand new. Could this green wire being disconnected supply power to the alternator?

could very well be. but me personally, if i pay to have my starter replaced, and there are issues afterward, i'd be back there lickity split. especially since they didn't connect a wire.

I would have been if it would have stayed running I called them this morning and had the tow truck driver pick it up for free. It is on the way back to the shop to get the green wire hooked back up.

According to the Haynes manual, the red wire goes to the battery, the green wire goes to the alternator thru a fusible link.
