Default APC Intimidator Intake Kit

Am I right in assuming that this would add about 3-5hp and make the engine sound a little beefier?

Anyone know if it will fit an 04 Dream Crusier (DC3)?

alceryes, these kits are listed on e-Bay, BIN $80.00

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=38634

Here's a kit that looks like the APC kit that has a BIN price of $28.00 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33659

Never heard of this brand so not sure of quality, worth checking it out though.

APC has horrible quality issues ....but yes you may experience a few more horses and a throatier sound. You're better off with quality (if you have the budget) like maybe:

I agree with Jody. K&N has a great kit, this is what I have on my Cruiser.
Here's one at a great price:

I have that one. Goes great with my hood. You can hear the stock BOV and that beautiful spooling sound. [8)]

Can you feel any difference in acceleration?
Would you say it sounds better then stock?

I have the Intimidator air intake. Fit and finish are perfect. I wanted the chrome and red filter to go with the other mods. Very loud when your foots to the floor, even drowns out the exhaust and turns heads. HP...they're all the same 3-5 over stock (unless you have direct access to the outside cool air, then maybe a couple more HP.

Yes and yes. I agree the K&N is better, but I don't believe claim of 26HP.
The biggest plus is when you punch the gas from a stop - less lag.
